Acts Bible Study
A Verse-by-Verse Study
The book of Acts is where the story of the church begins. A small group of frightened followers became bold witnesses who carried the Good News from Jerusalem all the way to Rome. This study walks you through that story one verse at a time.
Each chapter follows the same simple pattern. You read the full chapter of Scripture first. Then you get a short preview, a verse-by-verse study with plain notes on what each passage says and what it means for us, a summary, and study questions for personal use or a small group. Chapters that bring in a lot of new names also include a short list of the people and places.
This study uses the New American Standard Bible (1995) and reads God's Word plainly, letting Scripture explain Scripture. Where Bible teachers disagree, I tell you what I believe and why, and I point out where others see it differently.
You don't need to be a Bible scholar to use this book. I'm not one either. I simply want to grow closer to God, and I hope this study helps you do the same.
